Do the Supermarket Sweep, No it's not a dance

Rising Gas & Electricity prices!

Supermarket Sweep

Please consider, when you are doing the weekly shop, please be vigilant,
are you passing some potential goodies, some fishing gastronomical delicacies
that you should be including for that next fishing trip.

Ignore the Sunday cooking programs, Scallops in white wine with an
unpronounceable salad, But there, yes, there it is, that flavour that. adorable
smelly fishy attracting, oily thing, so keep you eyes open for it, we have a
Devon fishing holidays
detective to keep an eye out for us.

The supermarket can hold some very good ideas and also some cheaper
alternatives to the real thing, but what to get and what to do with different
products.

Hear are a few things.

First of all the boillies and pop up mixes, food colourings, food
flavourings, special oils, anything oily and smelly you can think of, you
b=never know, you might discover the next great bait flavour, cheap and very
effective, not smokey bisodol surely?

Chickpeas, another good cheap bait, but add some food colouring and
leave over night before boiling them for 30 minutes.

At our self catering cottages and fishing centre we also add food
colouring and flavouring to sweet corn which can be very effective. Have a
play, but keep records of what you are doing or you will loose track of what is
successful.

So try some of these, different colours and flavours and see what works.

Come fishing in Devon on a Devon fishing holiday, stay at our holiday cottages and
fishing for fun,
Devon self catering cottages and fishing extraordinaire.
