Many vacuums that have a HEPA filter in it, are not constructed in a way that the dirty air from vacuum is forced through the HEPA filter, causing the vacuum to be ineffective.

Rising Gas & Electricity prices!

Imagine this, you are gazing over your home proud that you have just vacuumed. You feel safe, secure, and protected from allergens, dirt and particles. Your asthmatic child is sitting in a clean room both the flooring and the atmosphere is clean because you just vacuumed with a vacuum containing a HEPA filter. You just bought a brand new HEPA vacuum and of course a vacuum with a HEPA filter is the best right? Unfortunately in many cases this is not the truth in its entirety. Although many people are led to believe that vacuums with HEPA filters are all the same, this is not accurate.

HEPA filtration is incredibly desirable to consumers, so the term HEPA is used everywhere in the market, often in conspicuous and misleading ways. A HEPA filter is a specially constructed filter membrane that stops small particles from passing through, but not all HEPA vacuum cleaners are built in the same manner and method.

Many vacuum cleaners boast having a HEPA filter but they fail to mention the engineering that surrounds the HEPA filter. A vacuum can have a HEPA filter but not be exceptional for allergies and other health problems. Many vacuum cleaners do not have the engineering to insure that the air is being expelled through a HEPA filter and only through the HEPA filter.

IF a vacuum is not engineered to be sealed entirely, polluted air will escape through the vacuum cleaner and you will end up with air that is more contaminated then when you started despite having a HEPA filter. For allergy and asthma sufferers this means the ‘HEPA’ vacuum which is thought to be superior because it contains a HEPA filter within, may not be the best because the engineering is inferior. The vacuum is not is as effective, clean, or beneficial as one would hope for it to be.

Many vacuums that have a HEPA filter in it, are not constructed in a way that the dirty air from vacuum is forced through the HEPA filter, causing the vacuum to be ineffective. In order for a vacuum cleaner to truly clean the house the vacuum needs to be a sealed system.

One of the best vacuums for HEPA clean air is the Miele Vacuum Cleaner. The Miele vacuum cleaner is completely sealed creating truly HEPA certified vacuum cleaner. The Miele vacuum has been engineered so that all the air must pass through the HEPA filter before being expelled into the air. Miele vacuum cleaners have rubber sealing to seal the vacuum and make sure that no dirty air escapes into the air. For an allergy or asthmatic this is very important. So before choosing a HEPA vacuum cleaner make sure that the vacuum is completely sealed so you are truly getting a vacuum for your needs.
