The Witches Book of Spells

Crandall the witch has a very think, heavy, dusty old spell book. The spells inside the book are very old and are all hand written. Below are a few of Crandall's spells, but don't worry you won't need bats blood, frogs eyes, rats brains, or a cauldron. Try some out and see if you could be a witch!

How will you look when you are old?
Find out how you will look when you are very old - look in a mirror at midnight on Halloween by candlelight. You may find that you will need the beauty spell.


The Rain Spell
This is a spell to stop rain from coming to a town right before it falls. When it starts getting dark, chant this with lots of feeling:
Gods of power, Gods of might,
I bid you now, stop this plight,
Stop the rain, we need no more,
Let it fall, nevermore.


Charmed Candy Spell
Great for Halloween candy!
You will need: a handful of candy and a white or orange candle
What to do: Light the candle, and put the candies in a pile. Make a triangle with your index finger and thumb of both hands, and them in a deosil (clockwise) direction over the candies while chanting:
Charmed are these candy treats Good fortune to all I merry meet!
Then give out the candies to friends and family and three people you don't know.


Good Health Spell Fold these in a velvet cloth...
Leaves of tea
flowers of lavender
ginger
salt
clove and camphor
Tie it up with a scarlet thread. Keep it beside your bed at night. Breathe it when you wake up every day. Soon you shall be healed and stay that way.


A Spell to Make Someone Agree With You
Cast this spell on a Friday evening. Light a pink candle for love and a blue candle for healing. Say the following incantation:
Please (name of person), do think again.
May the consequence heal my pain.
Grant my request to me and you'll see,
The good in your heart set me free.
Bless you.
Snuff the candles out after casting your spell.


Luck Spell
Just say this words when the moon is full:
Lady of luck come out of your hidden course
Bless your light upon me as the light of the moon shines above
and in the light of luck will be blessed I, when the moon is next to be full.


Beauty Spell
I don't know if this spell is very effective judging on Crandall's appearance, or maybe she didn't do the spell often enough!
On a full moon, take a mirror and go outside (if you can't then open a window, make sure the moon is reflected on the mirror) take a piece of a picture (hair, lips, eyes, whatever you are interested in changing) place it on the mirror and concentrate on it and say...
Moonshine, Starlight,
let the wind carry your light,
let your glow cover my body,
and let your shine cover every eye.

Say it 3 times and concentrate on the part that you want to change, Then say...
Moonshine, Starlight,
shape and mould my body,
as a rose is granted beauty,
let me blossom in your light,
the light that brings me beauty, and grant me beauty three times three
Say it 3 times and when you are finished light a pink candle.


Mind of a Frog Spell
We all know how much Witches like to turn people into other animals. This spell gives person mind of a frog. You need to point on a person and say...
Higady, pigady, pong! I give you a mind of a frog.


A Spell to Remove Warts Here is one folk spell. People used in old times and really does work. Try it and you will see. An important spell for very ugly witches.
Get a one small pea, touch the wart with the pea, fold it in a paper and bury it in moist ground, I repeat MOIST GROUND. As the pea rots, so the wart will go away.


Witches Hand Shake
